Venue : Dewan Utama, Tunku Abdul Rahman College, Jalan Genting Kelang, Setapak Kuala Lumpur.
Ticket price : RM 20
Bus ( go & back ) :  *if more than 20 ppls* RM 15
                               *if more than 30 ppls* RM 10
You guys have to pay Bonnie or Chloe RM 35, if we have more than 30 ppls going, we will give back the balance. Don't worry ^^

Hello bandies! :D
Hope u all had a good time at band camp and are resting well now at home! :)
We'll be having practice next monday (11/6/2012) from 8 30am to 4pm.
Attendance will be taken at the Art Gallery at 8 15am
Please be punctual.
We will be having practices everyday until concert with the same timing if we get the approval so I will confirm with all of u next week :)
Please get good rest and stay healthy! :D

Hello everyone! :D

Firstly, thank you for all your effort you put in today for making the BAND EXCHANGE a success!
Although we were slightly delayed before & during lunch we still managed to play together as 3 combined bands and end the event on time so a job well done to each of u! :) I'm sure u all had fun and I hope you all made many new friends :) will talk to all of you on Monday!

Just to remind all of you about the band practice on Monday :)

Please be punctual :)  as usual attendance will be taken at 7 45am :)
Please BRING YOUR OWN FOOD for your breakfast!

It is important for each and every one of u to attend the practices as we are getting closer to concert as each day passes! :D so everyone's co-operation is needed!

On Friday (1/6/2012) There will not be a practice so the last practice of the week will be on Thursday and then we'll meet again on the 4th of June 2012 for band camp! :D

All of u need to pay RM 5 (for food and transport)

Please make sure all your pieces and stands are at the band room, if u brought it home please bring it tomorrow

Things to bring: note book, pencil case, water bottle & RM 5

Attire: Band shirt, black slacks and shoes (sport shoes/school shoe/ sneakers)

*please wear your NAME TAGS! :)

BALLET FLATS ARE NOT ALLOWED

Please be punctual, Attendance is taken at 8 15am but you are advise to come by 8 05am at least :)

HEY! As you can see, there's a concert hosted by the Birdian Saxophone Quartet on 30 & 31 May. '' THE CHAMBER WIND PROJECT'' :D High Winds Ensemble, Zephyr Flute Ensemble & Trio D' Anches Kuala Lumpur are performing too! According to Ms Cheryl, they are mostly and probably the most outstanding musicians in town. So.. whatcha waiting for? Faster tell your principles that you are going! (especially the woodwinds members, everyone have to come)

Time is not confirm yet but we will be having the exchange after visiting klpac. excited? :) And yes, we are going to visit klpac.. in the morning. BAND PRACTICE (10/4/2012)

Hello bandies! :D

To the SENIOR BAND members :)

I'm sorry but the band practice that's suppose to be on Monday (9/4/2012) is postponed to Tuesday (10/4/2012) as Form 4 english literature students will be having their class on Monday and so more people wouldn't be able to make it on Monday. It'll be better to have practice on Tuesday as there will be better attendance then but those who won't be able to make it on Tuesday, please inform your principles/section leaders as they would need to know if u are not going to be there for the practice. If u're having tuition that can be reschedule, please do so.

The time of the practice would be as usual. Attendance is taken at 1 20pm and practice ends at 4pm.

To the JUNIOR BAND members :)

Juniors and RECRUITS, you will be having junior band practice next Tuesday(10/4/2012) as well because Wednesday is a public holiday. The practice timing is as usual : 8 to 11 30am

For those of u who wouldn't be able to make it, please inform your section leaders.

Milo Event!

Hello everyone! :D

This is for all those participating in the milo event on Sunday (18th March 2012).

Attendance is taken at 10 45am, bus will be leaving at 11am

You are allowed to pack lunch and have it in the bus or you can have a good lunch at home and bring along some snacks if you want to :)

*Attire : In Tempo T-shirt, Milo jacket & track pants, BLACK SHADES and your GLOVES

School shoes and school socks!

March Holiday Practices!

Hello!

Here are the updated timings for marching practices for the Milo Event!

Please take note, only those who are participating are required to attend these practices.

To those who aren't taking part (including recruits), keep practicing for our concert! :D

Monday (12th)- 1.00pm-5.30pm

Tuesday(13th)- 8.00am-4.00pm

Wednesday(14th)- 8.00am-4.00pm (The people are coming to our school)

Friday(16th)- 8.00am-5 30pm (there will be rehersal at Dataran Merdeka)*Lunch will be provided :)

Please bring a big water bottle everyday!! :)

DON'T FORGET YOUR CAPS & SUNBLOCK!

Also, please memorize your pieces if u haven't!

*You are allowed to wear any appropriate pants/shorts but nothing shorter than school shorts

but u have to wear a SCHOOL RELATED T-SHIRT

On our performance day. Sunday (18/3/2012) Attendance will be taken at 10 45am! We would return to school around 4-4 30pm.

If any of you wouldn't be able to make it for any of these practices, you HAVE TO inform your section leaders and Nicole Ann. You have to give a very valid reason. BUT it is COMPULSORY for everyone to be there on Wednesday and Friday :)

MILO PERFORMANCE!

Hello bandies! :D Here are details for the Milo event! It's suppose to be a Milo Family Day! :)

DATE : 18 MARCH 2012 (SUNDAY)

LOCATION : DATARAN MERDEKA

TIME : 2PM (performance time)

SONGS : Fairest of the Fair, Hujan di Tengahari & Milo Jingle :)

We will have to be at Dataran Merdeka by 1pm to start warming up. We'll probably meet at school around 12pm

This event will be an extra curricular event for us.

So, everyone has to take part! unless u have a REALLY VALID reason.

Juniors, you are playing the pieces with us :D so LEARN it up! :D

This is regarding the band competition in Singapore! :)

Miss Boey just told me yesterday after band practice that they'll try to get the PIBG and the school to pitch in some money to pay for our ACCOMMODATION :D and the entry fee for the competiton, as I have told u all will be paid by the school! :D

so MOST PROBABLY, your parents would only have to pay for your own food :)

Since some of you are vegetarians and different people have different preferences of their food, your parents will be paying for your food. I will let u all know if there are anymore updates soon!

Also, I'm really sorry, I forgot to wish u all yesterday! :( Anyway HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR to all those who are celebrating!! :D
