Please be at school on time. Attendance will be taken at 1pm.
HAVE LUNCH BEFORE COMING! :)
Our performance will be at 3pm so we would probably finish by 3 30pm, but to be safe tell your parents to pick u up at 3 45pm

For the band party! just to remind u all again,
U have to bring your own cutleries, cups and plates/tupperwares
*Bring a change of clothes with you as you will be getting wet! :D
For those of you who haven't paid but are attending, please bring RM10 with you tomorrow!

CONFUCIAN CONCERT! :D

The concert is from 8 to 9 30pm so we'll probably be back at the LRT station at about 9 50 - 10pm

Dress code: Band Shirt and Jeans

Entrance is FREE :)

Please have dinner before you come just in case we won't be able to eat there.

Band Party=)

Hello=) The band party has been POSTPONED to the 28th December!

Sorry for the inconvinience caused!=(

But we asked for a date that most of you would be able to come and so we chose the dates with the most votes!=)

The party will be at Maxwell Towers, Bue's place. We won't be having a pot luck because we will be in school earlier and it'll be hard to keep all the food ya. So, we'll be having pizza and barbeque=)

You could go home after our performance for orientation and then go home and come there=) The place is quite near school, so we could tumpang then=)=)

The time for the party remains the same though; time: 6.00 to 10.00p.m.

Band Concert Uniform

Due to some disagreement , the concert uniform is now on a top and slack basis .
Feel free to throw in some ideas . Any detail given will be appreciated and is very important .
Here are some of my ideas , do comment and tell me what I can do to improve the design .

1 ) We can reuse our silver concert uniform which was used during the 2009 concert , ( But since this year will be our first concert after we moved on to a symphonic band , I think most of you would prefer a new one perhaps ? )

OR

2 ) Something like the one below but not too ( big ) and a different colour .

Okay, we're going to have a concert meeting at least twice a month. Or maybe once. But this is to keep track on our to-do-list for CONCERT! It's in June people, so time to get real and make it happen.

Like I said in my text message, it is mandatory that all heads and assistant heads of departments to present themselves. Even if it's just for awhile. But at least do show your faces and voice out your proposals or ideas. Do not take your sweet time walking to the Bilik kuliah so that we can speed up and we can go home on time. I know it's your only free day in the week for some of you, but please just sacrifice 2 hours. It'll be worth it in the end :D

& another thing,

Head of department for transportation will now be Nicole Foo as Danielle will be leaving.

There will be a concert+ a workshop session. You have two options. You can either go for the concert or the concert+workshop. We will go depending on the most votes for whichever two options.

Details are as follow;

Date: 29th of January

Place: Putrajaya Concert Hall.

Day: Saturday

Time: Workshop starts at 9am-6.30pm

Concert starts at 8pm.

Price: CONCERT+WORKSHOP= RM50.

CONCERT ONLY= RM25 if there are more than 15 people.

RM30 if there are less than 15 people.

More band fest updates!

Hey bandies!
This weekend is BAND FEST! I hope y'all are all prepared already.

Just for your info, we will be hiring a bus to and fro ISKL's Ampang campus from school.

So please be in school by 7.00 am on SATURDAY and SUNDAY.
It will be RM 16 for the transportation on both days.
On Saturday, the program finishes at 5 pm, we should be reaching school around 6-6.30pm.
On Sunday, the program finishes at 3-3.30 pm, we should be reaching school around 5 pm.
Do take note in case your parents wants to know.

To those of you who haven't gave your band fest permission slips to Elisa George (morning session) and Theresa (Afternoon session), please do so latest by tomorrow. (13.1.11)

Band Fest Attire

It seems like some of you guys are confused on what you have to wear for band fest.

On the first day of band fest, you can wear whatever shirt/t-shirt colour you want.

No shorts, rip pants, revealing clothings, slippers or flip flops.

On the second day of band fest, there will be 2 performances (Junior band and senior band). You will be performing at that time. When you do perform, you will need to wear your respective blue or green shirt. It can be a t-shirt, shirt, long sleeved, short sleeved; as long as it is NOT revealing. No sleeveless too.

No slippers or flip flops. You can wear sneakers, ballet flats, or any other foot wear, but no slippers nor flip flops.

Please wear jeans or slacks on that day. (2^nd day of band fest)

P/s, you don’t really need to shop for your band fest clothes. :)

Practice on Friday (7/1/2011)

There will be practice this Friday, for seniors and juniors playing for Band Festival following your usual band practice time respectively. If you are unsure, please check with your principals. Please do check back regularly for updates!

Band Festival COLOURS

The coloured t-shirt is for the performance on SUNDAY (16th Jan). You can wear whatever colour you want on the 15th (Saturday).
